Volunteers Needed

The City of Allen is celebrating Independence Day on June 26, 2004, with the Allen USA Celebration from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. To make this event a success, we are in need of volunteers. With this need in mind, it is our hope that we find individuals who are interested in giving back to the community. By volunteering, you would give us the necessary manpower that is needed to make this event Spectacular!

The volunteers would be assigned to 4 areas (volunteers can decide the length of their shift with a 2 hour minimum):

Greeters- responsible for welcoming participants and informing them of the events.

Shuttle transportation-stationed at the shuttle drop off location, volunteers are responsible for expediting participants to and from the event (not required to drive)

Community Partners Tent- responsible for making sure all volunteers receives meals and drinks.

VIP Tent-responsible for welcoming and checking in of sponsors & VIPs

What’s in it for the volunteers?

An Allen USA “volunteer” t-shirt;

A volunteer parking pass (WOW…you can actually park across the street from the event for FREE

Free food and drinks in the Community Volunteers Tent.
