Volunteers Needed

It is that time of the year again…ALLEN USA!!!!

The City of Allen is celebrating Independence Day on June 24, 2006, from 12:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. To make this event a success, we are in need of volunteers to give us the necessary manpower that is needed to make this event Spectacular!

The volunteers would be assigned to 2 areas (volunteers can choose from 4 different shifts with a 3 hour minimum):

• Information Booth-responsible for welcoming guests to the celebration and giving out informational pamphlets.

• Greeters- responsible for welcoming guests to the celebration after they get off the buses.

What’s in it for the volunteers? I am glad that you asked! All volunteers will get the following:

• An Allen USA “volunteer” t-shirt;

• A special volunteer shuttle to the location; and

• Free food and drinks in the Community Volunteers Tent.
