T O P I C     R E V I E W Gary I noticed that the Mobil Station at Main and Allen Heights will soon share space with a Long John Silver's! I didn't see an open date, but I would guess sometime in late Feb. or early March. Lajennifer Gary, I stopped by there the other day and they told me it would be Feb 17th If I don't remember wrong. Anyway it is around mid Feb that it will be open :-) rock761 This is open now, anyone tried it? Lajennifer Oh yes we ate there last weekend and it was actually very good. We had the family pack of Chicken and Fish. The fries were great and the hushpuppies were fantastic. (Just don't let the fries get cold they were after setting there for a little bit) The drive thru opened up over the weekend so now you don't have to go into the store for this great food :-) CupOfCapp ate at LJSs the other day and the foods were great. I would go back there again. Tired of seeing all places where hamburgers are. Now this is something different.... vrs Wow! A new fish place just in time for Lent! bullseye We ate there this wknd. It was good. They were quite busy too! It is doing that Mobile station a world of good!! WAY TO GO! I am so glad they decided to put in a Long John Silver's around here. The closest one I know of other than this new location is up in East Plano. I'm happy to have LJS in Allen bbaker Went by last evening for 12 pc. Fish only, to go. I had to wait a few minutes for some to finish cooking but , the fish was all freshly cooked. Service was good and all were polite. Food was very good...i'll go back. kathy Tonight we tired Long Jonh Silvers and was very disappointed. The man taking the order could not understand my order. Very simple 2 no fives and add one piece of fish. He kept saying add chicken [no one piece of fish deborah Language sometimes does appear to be a problem. Kathy, Did you ask to speak to a manager after you had this problem? I am just curious if the management of this location were also unresponsive. Just from my experience with any difficulty of this nature,the manager is usually close by to ensure everything is okay. I realize that it should not occur to begin with, but the reality is that sometimes it does. Really not looking for a political discussion, I am just dealing with reality. I always thought the Muppet being used in the commercials was a ****roach. I guess it is a shrimp, but man are they funny. OK
