It is disgusting, not only the food is gross but the place is nasty and the owners are these loud guys that act very obnoxious and make sure they tell everyone they own the place. I can't believe it is still in business. It is also very overpriced. The filthy tables and floors were the worst and all of there chairs are broken and the seats are ripped! It was unbelievable. hazelnut Well, I thought I would give this place a try because I had seen some positive reviews about it here. I don't think I'll go back. I placed a takeout order, just ordered two items, 45 minutes later I was still waiting. I can understand some things taking a while to cook, but 5 or 6 people that came in after me, got their orders before I did. These were not takeout orders, they were eating in and ordering main course type of meals. Personally, I think they forgot my order. The food was okay, but not out of this world delicious. The plain jane surroundings didn't bother me, just the extremely long wait for no reason that I could tell. texasspiv Tam is right. THis place is the pits..gross, ugly, dirty and horrible service. I don't see how anyone could give it a good review...I tried it twice and they just got worse the second time. I'm spreading the word to folks not to go there. KathyW Oh come on guys. I guess you have never lived in a small town before. This place is just like a small town cafe. I rate it best breakfast in Allen. Try the breakfast taco. WOW! Warning only go to the ballpark if you are ready to be filled up. Good food and lots of it! Where else does the owner of the restuarant serve you coffee? catlady Good- I thought I was the only one in Allen that's didn't like the ballpark. Too greasy and loud for me c3lost While I did find it dirty and probably wouldn't go back for that reason the food and service were great. icemanwbb I have done many fire inspections in the Ballpark. The Ballpark has always been bad. But.....they are under new ownership now and they have done an excellent job cleaning up the place. Their menu is improved and the kitchen is clean. I asked them to make some safety improvements and they were done very quickly. I find the new management to be very responsive to the needs of its customers. Great food.
