T O P I C     R E V I E W goallen This is just a note to congratulate the boys involved with Allen Baseball's all-star teams, all of which performed exceptionally well this year. To summarize, Allen won at least one tournament in nearly each division in which it fielded a team this year. PeeWee (8) won the "city" (Dallas area) tournament. The district PeeWee (8) team swept through the winner's bracket and plays to defend its district championship Tuesday night at Enfield Park in Plano, at 7:00. Williamsport (11/12) teams finished both first and second in the city tournament. Juniors (13/14) swept the district tournament and are currently playing in the Sectional championships. Big League (17/18) won the district tournament, losing out in the Sectionals. I know of no other area league which enjoyed as much all-around success this season. Congratulations boys, Allen is very proud of your accomplishments! Allen Baseball will begin accepting Fall season registrations at the end of this month, with a mass signup to be held on Saturday, July 27th at a to be determined location. The Fall season is instructional and non-competitive in format, generally ideal for those that wish for further refine their skills, or try new positions.
