My daughter was interested in playing but thought that you would of had to sign up at the first of 7th grade. That doesn't make any sense. Anyone out there know for sure??? I just thought someone who actually had been a part of athletics might know. I appreciate you're help. AllenResident2 My daughter was on the Ford Middle school team. Curtis and Ford run their programs pretty much the same way. Once she starts her 7th grade year, Curtis will conduct try outs that last about 1-2 weeks. The girls will be expected to run 1 mile in less than 7 minutes as part of the try outs. At the end of try outs, the girls will be told if they are on the A, B or C team. Last year there was 70 + girls who tried out and they only excepted about 35. Hope this helps......... jaw You can try out for 8th grade volleyball even if you didn't try out for 7th grade. Tryouts are usually the first two weeks of school. There is going to be a volleyball camp conducted by Coach G in July. I believe it is the week of July 21st. If you would contact Coach G as the Webmaster suggested, I'm sure you can get better information.
