T O P I C     R E V I E W richardb This Saturday from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. will be the annual Allen Spring Spruce Up. Dumpsters will be available for the discarding of household items such as appliances, furniture, lumber, mattresses and old boxes. Items which are still usable will be donated to the Allen Community Outreach. Non-acceptable items include household hazardous waste, appliances containing freon, tires, paint, varnish, gas, oil and batteries. The location is off of Exchange Parkway, west of 75. Signs will point the way to the exact location. I, along with other members of the city council and numerous other volunteers will be there to help unload your "junk". Please take this opportunity to discard your old items which normally can't be put out with your regular trash pickup.
