conanpaWe all know what the events of September 11ht and the Enron scandol have done to OUR world.
Layoffs, lost jobs and a bleak future. Hopefully it will turn around.
Dou YOU want the people we employ to guard our safety to be be at the whim of the people who tell you one thing and turn around and do something else? NOT ON MY WATCH!!
Elected officials are to do what WE want done. That's the way it should be. ACCOUNTABILITY!. What an amazing thought!
bearI think there is already a forum on this subject. My opinion: "its getting old"! I'm voting NO! To each his own! Sounds to me like people have a problem with city officials so have they done their homework and research on who to vote for? It's not just civil service we're voting for.
GaryI too would recommend voters do not tie their Civil Service vote to the City Council, Mayor or School Board elections. Each item on the ballot should be evaluated on it's own merit.
allencivilservice.comHey, for once we agree. There is already a forum for civil service. Go back to "Town Hall Talk" then click on Civil Service.

For more information on civil service including the actual civil service law go to. www.allencivilservice.com
