bullseyeHas anyone used priceline.com? I have been told it's an excellent resource for travel. The whole hitch is, you have to name your price & if some Co accepts your offer, they charge your CC immed. How safe is your CC with them though, being online? I'm chicken to try it out. Any thoughts or comments?

I've heard that my friends used www.priceline.com but then now mostly use www.Expedia.com. They says Expedia is better because you can pick your own flight time. Priceline you have to go to that flight time where they find the match the name of your price. Also if you missed the flight, you cannot use the ticket again. Thats what I was told. I never tried Priceline or Expedia.
TTRRI've used Priceline numerous times, and have been happy with it each time. I've generally saved about $100 per ticket over the best advertised fare I could find (including Expedia). As was stated, they pick your flight times for you, but to save a chunk of cash I have no problem waking up at 4am and driving to the airport to catch a 6:30 flight. The best advice I could give is to just be flexible with your times and you'll save money. When you name your price, start off with a very low offer. Who knows, it might get accepted. If it's not accepted, you can up your bid 2 more times. Hope this helps.
bullseyeI decided to go ahead & get reservations at 2 hotels with priceline.com. Saved a ton of cash. I would recommend using them for your traveling needs!
