JayhawkFanOur two year old daughter loves pony rides but we haven't taken her for one since last fall. Does anyone know of any upcoming events which might have pony rides?
Bandit's GangI have four kids, but my third child, eight years old now, started out this way also. Years later, we have two miniature horses and six big ones! She is just as happy to be scooping poop as to be riding one of them. If you haven't done the carousel at Stonebriar Mall she will love that. Cheap thrill. Also the Mesquite Rodeo has pony rides behind the stage and lots of thrills for horse lovers of all ages (sit on the first row where the mud flies, the rodeo clowns talk to you and the parade riders "give you five" as they ride by). Also, I THINK the Frisco stable place on 121 does pony rides.
VGotwayThe Dallas Zoo has pony rides at the Lacerte Family Children's Zoo section. They are great and go slow enough for you to snap a picture. I think it is only $2 for a ride.
campbellfamYou might try Fairview Farms in Plano (located right off 75 south of Costco). I'm pretty sure they have all kinds of animals.
