T O P I C     R E V I E W Barry_Hubris Does anyone know if the city has a public access TV facility? You know, where regular Joe's like myself can go and create videos? I know they have a cable station, but was wondering if there is a section open to the citizens of Allen. richardb The city doesn't have a public access TV facility. My suggestion would be to contact the High School. They have an excellent TV/Production Studio. What type of a video are you looking to produce? Barry_Hubris I called over to the high school and they weren't too helpful. My idea is to do a documentry on the history of Allen. The website only has a little paragraph or two on the history, which isn't much. I was hoping the city would have a facility or something so I can start this idea. richardb Leadership Allen Class VIII, in 1996, as a class project produced a video about the history of Allen. Unfortunately, 70-80 years ago, all of the old photos and documents (newspapers, etc.) were destroyed when the library burned down. The class gathered their information from county and state archives and interviews with citizens who were 4th and 5th generation Allenites. bhalley I haven't heard of any such facilities. I work in the TV/Radio/Internet industry and have a lot of production equipment at home. If I don't have it I can get it through my work and contacts. Let me know if I can help.
