We always do our own with my brother's kids at my mom's house. Tons more fun that way than 50 kids you don't know. Oh, and the egg hunts are usually Saturday mornings (when my girls are in dance classes) so we can never make it anyway.
You're welcome to join our family on Easter Sunday! The youngest kid is now 4 so we could use a toddler waddling around.

We've had egg hunts for the neighbors on our street for the past several years. We put out a flier a few days before asking the neighbors to set the plastic eggs filled with treats out in their front yard a few minutes before 10 a.m. Saturday before Easter. Then we gather at one end of the street, go down to the cul-de-sac and back up the other side letting the kids take a few eggs from the participating yards. Hopefully, the rain will hold off until Saturday afternoon. This is also a great way to meet new neighbors on our street and gives the kids a chance to get together.
