"24" on FOX
      #24922 - 02/28/06 03:19 AM

If you love CSI or Alias you ARE a "24" fan. 24 is the type of show that you find yourself standing up watching because the adrenaline would not let you sit down. They say one episode can get you hooked on to the whole series, regardless of how far into the season they are. "24" is THE show to watch. Ask 30million viewers

Have to agree there, 24 and The Shield are the only two shows that are guaranteed to get me to sit down and watch TV anymore. 24 is a very clever idea with excellent writing and both shows have excellent lead actors.

Oh my gosh I am so hooked on 24. I've only been a fan a few months and I'm trying to piece together the past seasons through reruns on Sundays and Mondays. Its almost like an action adventure soap opera with great acting, stunts, and special effects. The characters are rich, but with the plot twists not one character is safe from demise. I can't believe Tony is gone. Lost is my favorite and 24 is second on my list.

You can rent the seasons in order too, I'd recommend that. It's easier this way and you can catch them all in order making it easier to follow the story and get to learn the characters.

The one thing with "24" that is starting to get on my nerves is the constant moles within the organization and the waste of time office politics that comes up each season. If it was a regular season that covered a several month time frame then I could buy into it more readily but over a 24 hour time frame it gets a bit thin after a while. I know they're trying to add more dynamics to the show by having some good guys be the 'bad guys' but enough is enough.

Love the scene in Season 2 when Jack says "I'm gonna need a hacksaw", when you see it you'll understand. lol Jack and Vic Mackey are the two coolest 'tough guys' on TV right now. :)

It's a fair argument to say that a lot of people don't watch "24" standing up. The adrenaline rush is toooo much to sit down and watch that show.

LOVE this show! Have watched all the seasons and this one is one of the best. It is definitely best to watch all the previous seasons to catch up.
