I've been very dissapointed with pizza around here. I started out as a loyal Pizza Hut gal. I couldn't tell you how many times we ordered pizza from the one on Ave K and Bethany and have been really displeased with the pizza. It seems to be either barely cooked, or their sauce is watered down. The pizza tastes like dough rather than bread. We have searched and searched for a pizza as good as Pizza Hut, or close to it and finally found the Crazy Tomato. I love their food and was very happy with their service until the last time we ordered. I placed my order, had a few questions. Durring the order placing, he(Tony?) repeated my order back to me several different times, even though I only changed my mind about one item. It seemed to take way too long to place an order of 1 salad and 1 pasta. That in itself would not have been too bad, but then I got a call back from him asking what my address was(it usually shows up on the computer automatically), my mom hands the phone to me so that I can give the address to him and then he asks me what my order was. I was frustrated by then and figured that if he can repeat it back to me 6 times, he should have it memorized by then. I told him to forget the pizza and that we would fix something else. To top it off, he sends the pizza anyway(even though I hadn't given him my address), and the delivery person was real nice when I explained what happened. He said "that sounds like Tony", as if this is a completely normal experience. Then Tony calls my house to ask why we sent the order back. I started by telling him that I had already told him to forget the order. Then told him that first of all, he repeated the order back to me 6 times...then he interrupted me before I could finish talking and said that he didn't repeat the order and that I kept changing my order. Keep in mind, I changed my mind once about a tea because it was for my mom and she is diabetic and they only have sweet tea available. I told him that I really didn't want to argue with him about it, because I really didn't like the angry tone in his voice. He then said he was removing me from their computer system. I was really disapointed that they are not the kind of company who listens to their customers. Has anyone else had this kind of experience? Also, who else delivers good pizza and has good customer service?

I've ordered from Crazy Tomato about 5 times in the past few months, and it has been good every time. I usually order the Bacon Ranch pizza and it usually gets here in a reasonable amount of time. I've never had a problem with ther order taker except when I used my cell phone instead of my wife's and it wasn't in the system.

I have difficulty with almost every place in town, that delivers. But with pizza, Brooklyn's and Crazy Tomato have been the better ones. Except of course when I told CT I would come in for it....and while I was there asking for my pizza, they were at my front door with same, haha.

I order from that location frequently and have had the same problems as you with my recent orders. Once my pizza only had the cheese and sauce covering half the undercooked dough! I called their 1-800-PizzaHut phone number and spoke with a supervisor (one who actually knew what SHE was doing!) and told her of my recent problems. I always get the same thing - cheese pan pizza - and pick it up. She was very apologetic, noted these things in my pizza ordering "records" and I've not had any problems since. I'd try another place but my kids are super picky and only want Pizza Hut.

I stopped ordering pizza from other places once I discovered 5th Street Pizza. You really need to give them a try, you will be pleased. Good food, good and friendly service.

Too bad the places mentioned don't deliver. I may try them on days that I don't mind picking food up. Thanks jogo on the 800 number. I may have to call and see if they fix the problem. When I think of Pizza, I think of Pizza Hut flavors. I guess because I grew up eating Pizza Hut pizza. civic, it's good to know that I am not the only one who has had problems comunicating with Crazy Tomato. I was starting to wonder if it was my pregnancy hormones getting in the way of ordering a meal. LOL!

Haha, yeah I think (usually) I'm past getting upset about these things, though it is frustrating. I have just come to expect it from most places. Perhaps that's why I like the place I wanted to franchise. Their system is ALMOST foolproof, haha.
But as this deals with the Crazy Tomato, I say I've been generally pleased.
