Just wanted to get this establishment some credit here on the forums. They're still somewhat new to Allen, but have had a shop in Plano for years. If anyone out there likes kolaches, you'll love this place. If you don't know what a kolache is, or if you want an alternative to donuts, go try them. I go there quite often, but most of the time I'm the only customer there at the moment. I'd hate to see this place go under.

I agree, Kolache Station is awesome. It brings back memories for me of stopping at the Czech stop in Waco, halfway between Fort Worth and College Station during college. Unfortunately I can't eat Kolaches very often.

I was raised in West where the Czech Stop is located. It is 15 min. north of Waco, home of Westfest and some great kolache bakeries. I visited the Kolache Station and their fruit kolaches are like what I'm familiar with eating and liked them. I also got a sausage kolache. I ordered the one that said pig in a blanket next to it and I was disappointed. I was hoping for a sausage kolache made with real Czech, Polish, or German sausage, but instead I got a wiener in some bread a.k.a a pig in the blanket. I did see another sausage kolache on the menu that said spicy so maybe I just ordered the wrong one. They were cutting up some sausage from Snook; TX when I was in there so that is probably the problem. I just don't like when pigs in a blanket get confused with kolaches because they are not the same. I would also like to see a larger selection. Maybe some beef sausage kolaches, sausage and sauerkraut kolaches, more fruit kolaches, etc. I think I'm just a little to spoiled from my trips back home.

Just wanted to throw my support in for these guys. My husband wanted donuts on a recent Sunday morning, but I suggested the Kolache station instead. So he went there and got spicy ones for him and regular ones for me. Yummmy!

The one here in Allen now open on Sundays? I remember when the first open, they closed on Sunday.
I used to go to the one here in Allen once a while but havent been there a while. I had wished they had more selections.

No, they're on the west side of US75. I looked for our earlier posts on the kolaches, but I didn't go back far enough. I've tried them and enjoyed it, but they aren't open early enough, haha.
