Anyone know when this places opens (it's in the old TaMolli's on the SE corner of Main & Jupiter)? Their website says October 1st, but I drove by there last night and there's still a "Coming Soon" sign in the window. I heard their Dallas location has really good food.

I called last Friday and they said either Wednesday or Thursday. I've opened stores before, and dates do often slip due to inspections, and other problems. I hope they're open soon, I'd like to try their food.

what is their website address? I hope it is a good place to eat. Looks like we will have a few to try. Dickies hasn't had any competition. Hope they don't over do it with BBQ now.

I'd give it 2.5/5 stars. A large sandwich, fries, and drink were nearly $10, but filling.
The chopped beef was mediocre. The fries were limp and slick with grease. Red, Hot, and Blue, or even Dickeys, wont be driven out of business anytime soon.

I ate there today. It's close and the food was decent. About the same price as I pay the BBQ joint I go to in Plano by CostCo, and the service was fast and friendly. I'd give them a 7 out of 10. I think they could do great business if they stay open after football games, and maybe did some kind of offer where they gave a free drink with purchase to those with ticket stubs or something.

My 2 meat plate plus banana pudding was over $10(without drink). I'd give it a 5 or 6. Brisket and sauce were average, the bread was soggy, the sides were very bland and blah (mac & cheese, green beans), and I've had much better Hot Links.

Surely that wouldn't happen.

Just ate there this afternoon with wife and kids. It was great with no complaints. I ordered the sliced beef sandwich plate and the wife ordered the sliced beef plate. Kids got a huge order of kids ribs and the kids chicken leg. Both were very good. The staff was very attentive and liked it better than most places I've been to. The fries are the greasy type, but if you're not used to them, you probably won't like them. Unfortunately I do like them. That is just the way they're made.

We just tried Sugar Baby's tonight, and I will never be back. Maybe it's just not the BBQ I'm used to, but nothing tasted right. My son's chicken strips were completely raw as if they had not been cooked at all. The potato salad and bbq sauce had strange flavors or no flavor at all. And the service was bad. I'm just amazed, especially since they have 2 other locations, that they wouldn't already have all the kinks worked out. We told them about our raw chicken and they didn't seem to care. We won't be back. Not to mention that it was $20 for a 1-meat plate, small sandwich, and kids meal. YIKES!

Sounds like I don't even want to waste my time with this joint.

Can you say "SALMONELLA"? I think I would have asked for the manager if my kids chicken strips were served raw. And, dropped a note to the city health inspector!

Well I went there not expecting much and I got that. The service was fine, but like someone else mentioned the taste was just plain "off"...especially the BBQ sauce. I ended up dousing the sausage with the hot sauce on the table and even that wasn't that great. Probably won't be back.

We went there for lunch. BBQ was good, fries were incredible. The sauces were good. We'll be back, it was a nice change. Manager came by at least twice to see how everything was going.

Are there options to avoid getting spicy meat or sauces?? If so, I'll try it. I'm also always seeking a new place for my monthly Scouting friends dinner thingy.
