What would a person charge <ball poark> to clean a 3000sq ft house. Dusting, vacuming +3 bathroooms and mopping? Any help would be appreciated !

A friend of mine who cleans houses says her rate is usually between $100-$200. Linda Halverson who often contributes here used to clean houses and she might be able to give you more details.

We found an excellent housekeeper on craigslist. Today was her first day and we're being charged $50 /wk for 2700 sq. ft. My wife is a bit of a drill sergeant with regard to kids keeping up with their personal messes, so the cleaning is mainly the regular vacuuming, dusting , bathrooms and kitchen. So far, her work is excellent. Respond to a few of these ads or post one of your own. You'll find everything you need in a housekeeper. 3000sq. feet? Down stairs maybe! What kind of rate can I get for an 8,000 sq ft? I only want the main rooms done.
