It was a lot of fun. We had a group of about 20 Girl Scouts show up just after 8 am and they got almost all the pansies planted and took their assigned number of planters to deliver to local senior citizens. We were done with the pansy planting before 10 am.
I even had to run back home to get a bicycle, microwave and pet food. It was nice I was able to go through only one line and the volunteers carried the bicycle and pet food over to the other areas. Things ran very smoothly. I think they get better each year they do it.
Great job City of Allen Community Services and all the other organizations and volunteers that helped today!
