I am a 20 year old student at the University of North Texas majoring in Special Education. I will be living in Allen for the summer while working for my Dad's company and would like to provide a caregiver's service for children in the evenings. I am available every weekday after 5 p.m. and with advance notice will be available some weekends. I have worked with a large variety of both physical and cognitive disabilities and can provide engaging activities and techniques for behavioral, social and physical development
I have seven (7) years of experience in child care and was a coach at ASI gymnastics in Allen for 3 years during high school for both children with special needs as well as regular gymnastics classes. I was also a student-teaching intern through Allen high school for 2 years and was selected for a contract with Allen Independent School District for a teaching job upon earning my teachers certificate.
