I'm thinking of enrolling my 2 year old son to daycare. I live in Allen but work in Irving. I don't get home until after 6 pm which is when most daycares are closed. Anyone know if there is a daycare in Allen or McKinney that drops off your kid at your residence. I can drop him off in the morning, but since i come home late, i won't be able to pick him up by 6 pm. That's my dilemma. I also thought about enrolling him in the daycare near work, but it's such a long drive for him.

I'm assuming that someone will be home if you would like your 2 yr. old dropped off ... so the person that is home couldn't p/u the child?
The downside of having your day care by work is when you are not going to be @ work but need to take baby to day care - that wouldn't work out so well. The upside is the time you would be together in the car could be quite fun!

Most daycares I worked at close at 6:30. I would talk to the Dir. and see how much extra it would cost per week to pick up a little late.Most of them are per min fees ( sometimes you could set a set price ) Or you could get another parent that you know and go to the same center and pay them to take you child to there house and then pick him up from there.
