and into the early morning. More showers expected the next few nights. No, I'm not talking about rain, but there is a slight chance for rain in the forecast. I'm talking about meteor showers. Check out this link:

It's like buying a telescope. If you buy a telescope, expect several months of rain.

Just got home from a scooter trip, and too tired to look....well, maybe I'll try and get up early, haha. I always like this "show" and the Leonids, and all other Spacey events. Thanks for sharing.

And even if the clouds clear, there's your old nemesis, the Moon!
Two plus two equals five, for sufficiently large values of two.

Ha ha! Yes, that unwelcome visitor was out last night too.

Did anyone take a look last night?

My son and I were out at 1am and 4am... we saw maybe a half dozen or so each time. The thin clouds obscured most of the meteors and stars. The moon and the ground lighting also made it tough to see anything except the brightest meteors.

Didn't see anything but moon walking the dog around 11:30-12:00. :(

I was out in the driveway at around 5:30 am the next morning, but didn't see any. I couldn't wait too long since I was on my way to work. But since it is occurring over a period of a few nights, I will have to try looking again after it gets dark.
