Has anybody successfully used Vista's parental controls? We got a new computer and I created an account for the kids and turned on parental controls. I had the settings at what I thought was pretty reasonable. It was supposed to block pornography and mature rated games. I set it to medium security on websites. I quickly discovered that it rendered the account completely useless. It blocked yahoo and it rendered a site recommended by the Spanish teacher unusable. I ended up having to turn everything off. I do still have logging on.
Am I going to have to enter every approved site manually to make it useful? My kids are reasonably trustworthy so if it is going to be a pain in the neck I'm going to just leave it off.

We had the same problem with the kid's online accounts. Even set at medium they couldn't access their webkinz sites so we finally just turned it all off and just try to keep a good eye on it.
