It was one of our favorite shows, but it appears it wasn't renewed. I seem to remember a friend telling me she read where it was cancelled.

We loved that show also. Another one we are missing is Flashpoint. I think I saw one of the actors on another shwo for Fall so I doubt it is coming back.

Yes, The Unit was cancelled and I wasn't shocked. I stopped watching the show around the midpoint of last year, the show had lost its way. Sending wives on missions and the addition of 'Red Cap' were ridiculous and did not keep with the direction the show had followed since the beginning. I heard they did start getting their act back together about the midpoint (after I stopped watching) last year and started getting back on track but I think it was a little too late. It was evident that Haney wasn't involved anymore and the show suffered.
I loved the show, have Seasons 1-3 on DVD and wish someone would pick it up so they could go back to the way it was earlier in the show.
