Yesterday my husband asked me to make chicken salad so he could take it in a sandwich for lunch today. I made plenty so this morning he asked my boys if they also wanted chicken salad sandwiches. One had already made his lunch but the oldest and youngest said, "Sure!"
When my youngest son got home today he looked at me and said, "Next time you tell me you're sending chicken salad, don't send PUKE ON A BUN!"
I about busted my gut laughing and asked him what he meant by that. He said, "I thought it was going to be chicken with salad on it (meaning lettuce). Instead you mixed chicken with all that other stuff!"
I then told him that it was his dad who asked me to make the chicken salad and requested specific ingredients. He asked for chicken, celery, onion, apple, grapes and almonds. I had some for lunch and it was really good.
We won't be sending "puke on a bun" with my youngest son anymore!

That's just too funny. I am not a chicken salad or tuna salad fan either. Frankley, can't stand it. Maybe he could have traded it for something else?
