This is a great new site. I was told it was coming soon, but this is the first i have seen of it. Great work! Looking forward to spending some time there!

Yep, I noticed that Bengal Cafe isn't on the list any more either. Also I had emailed Noren Bowen a few weeks ago to inquire about a bookstore in the development. I know that Barnes and Nobles was originally planned and they are still leaving the plot of land between Penney's and Macy's open for another anchor which was originally the scheduled spot for B&N.
Unfortunately I haven't gotten a response from Noren Bowen on the status of getting a bookstore in the development. I figured when B&N was in discussion to purchase Borders that it probably cause it to be dropped from the development since a Borders is down the street at Watters Creek.
However Books a Million was a scheduled to be at the Bridge Street of McKinney development which has now been cancelled so I'm hoping that MGHerring may approach them or at least the locally independent Legacy Books into opening a second location in Collin County.
Either way if we can get a book store and an Apple or Microsoft Store or Sony Style Store. I'll be extremely satisfied.

Hey everyone,
It looks like the website www.thevillageshopping.com is being updated in realtime. I just happen to browse over there a few minutes and the opening dates for the stores started popping up sporadically every time I would refresh my browser.
One store I've noticed suspiciously now absent is Orange Cup for The Village at Fairview. I visited the VaF this weekend and noticed the location of Orange Cup was next to Paciugo. Also it looks like Cyclone Anaya's opening has been pushed back from April to June.

Just make sure to order your burger medium or medium rare. They do tend to overcook the burgers. (Medium well is the standard order if you don't request anything different. Mine was closer to well the first time I ate there)

They looked pretty juicy in the video, but I always order medium rare. I had a hard time remembering where I knew this place from, but the video reminded me that it was right across the street from my old loft in deep ellum. It was only there a couple of months before I moved. Good place though. Cannot wait until it opens.

Just saw that Old Navy will be joining the Fairview side. Near the Macys and Cyclone A's.

Old Navy is good news. Their stores are good traffic generators. The location at Firewheel Town Center and in McKinney are always busy.
Also it looks like Orange Cup and NY Russo's Pizza must have backed out because their signs are no longer posted inside the center and are also gone from the website.
It'll be interesting to see what kind of tenants MG Herring Group can get considering there are already a lot of mainstay mall brands and stores over at the Allen Premium Outlets.

Signs also went up for Express and Lens Crafters. I think a store like Old Navy will bring on more businesses due to the guarantee of decent traffic.

Does anyone know if they will have an indoor play area for the munchkins? We like to play at the tiny Allen village and caboose, but it is HOT during the summer.

There are fountains on the Fairview side, but I don't know if it is safe/allowed for kids to play in.
