I'll admit that I grew up with a calculator and a typewriter but I do pretty good on the computer these days as well. So this may be a silly question, but is there a way to get rid of things in a drop down box? My whole family likes to use my computer so I have many websites that I don't need to paw through to get to what I want. Just wondered.

Why not just use bookmarks to get to the sites you want?

What Allen said. That and it's a good idea to clear your history and cache on occasion to keep your browser running smoothly. Clearing the history should clear out that dropdown (if you're talking about the one I think you're talking about).

Thanks for that. I knew it probably was something easy to do.
