Took the family yesterday and it was great. *Excellent* food AND service. I was genuinely impressed... in a way that I had not been at the old La Finca.
The fish tacos were outstanding!
Keep it up Oscar. I'll be a regular now. Between El Grande Burrito anf La Finca Chiquita - my local mexican food needs are met. Sweet!

Oscar, you already know my opinion of your place.
But as for the rest of the community: you are depriving yourself of a massive treat by not going.
Seriously, go to La Finca Chiquita. Go now!
The ribs were to die for: smoky and succulent, rich with adobo sauce and served with a refreshing jicama slaw. The carnitas are braised in coca cola (the Mexican kind, not the HFCS-laden domestic crap) and is the finest preparation of pork shoulder I've ever encountered. The rellenos are crisp and bursting out of their fresh chile containers. The caldo de camaron (shrimp soup): WHOA, divine! It's citrusy and hearty, and served with accompaniments you can add to your taste (I always ask for extra cilantro and serrano chiles). Finally, the guiso mexicano is the perfect stew for the autumn weather, with hearty chunks of beef.
Oh yeah, there are the tres salsas. Heck, I don't even need tostada chips for those. Gimme a straw.
Keep it up Oscar. My family ♥s you, your staff, and your food!

If you haven't tracked down this awesome "Hole in the Wall" Local Favorite you need to do so ASAP.

My husband and I finally tried La Finca last night for dinner. The place is definitely small but we arrived around 6 p.m. and it wasn't too busy. We were greeted by a very friendly server and upon her recommendation, we both ordered the carnitas. Well, the food was delicious. I will probably order the carnitas every time I go because they are just that good! We are very happy we finally gave La Finca a try and will definite add it to our rotation. :)

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank the Allen Online Community for their fantastic support.
We will be closed this weekend (Friday 22nd, Saturday 23rd, and Sunday 24th) as we all take a small break for family vacations.
We will reopen Tuesday for normal business hours.

Our Carnita Tacos are Coca-Cola braised pork shoulder served with guacamole, rice, charro beans, cilantro, pico de Gallo, and lime.
