I wanted to pass on a little good news. There has been a ton of talk about the new Cinema and the pricing they will be charging. I just found out that you have an opportunity to test their services for free, and judge for yourself if it is worth the price of admission.

On April 28th, 29th, 30th and May 2nd, 3rd, and 4th they will be conducting free mock runs of the shows including free food and beverage.

It is simply a free date night. You need to make reservations (972-549-4200) and movies are filling fast. This could be your opportunity to see Avatar in 3D while sipping on free Chardonnay and eating, well, something. Not sure what is on the menu. But once again, it is free!!!!!

They are closed for the night (9:00 PM), so call tomorrow if you are interested.

Seriously, this is a good deal! See some of you there!

Seems that the money we spend every game at the Allen Americans(seats and food and beer), this place will be somewhat the same or cheaper.

I called and there is no info on reserving your spot. There is a generic v/m. I went to the website to sign up and it shows May 1 as only option and it's 1st come 1st serve.

I tried to sign up for the free membership - it runs you around in circles . . . and won't accept you.

So far, not so good.

All your issues worked fine for me yesterday. Maybe they are not in the office yet. Cathy was who took my reservation. Go to their facebook page and it gives info on making a reservation. The website was pretty straight forward when I registered. I googled Gold Class Cinemas and it took me straight there.

Good luck.

Allen, I cannot remember all of them, but I believe there were 8.

Shutter Island
book of Eli
Avatar 3D
valentines day
up in the air
that steve carrol and Tina fey movie

I cannot recall the others. We went with VDay since Avatar was booked in the time slot we wanted. That was a huge concession on my part, I am not excited about the flick. My wife is, and she deserves it.

Allen, I don't think they have the same movies as what they list that they will after opening! I wish they did have Clash of The Titans though. May be the first one I actually pay for there.

They are still very busy in the middle of construction and setting up so be patient if you can't get through. Try again and you will eventually get someone to take your reservation. I'm signed up for It's Complicated and have already purchased advanced tickets for Sex And The City 2 on May 27th. (girlfriends birthday)

Thanks very much for the heads up! I scored a reservation on May 3 for "Up in the Air". I'm anxious to try this place out, and the price is DEFINITELY right. :)
