I don't think the number on the free ticket voucher is unique to anyone and the coupon is hosted on their website.

Can anyone confirm the number on the voucher hollowel posted is not unique? I would like to use it, but I wouldn't want to inadvertently steal someone else's coupon...

That's the exact same number that is on mine. So I guess they just verify you are a member and have not used it yet.

They expire soon, so get your reservation if you plan to use the coupon.

Has anyone used the free ticket voucher? How does it work? Do you make the reservation online with a credit card number, but you show up and give them the voucher and it's free?

I wondered this also, so I called them and asked. They said that you will need to call them to make your reservation and be sure to tell them that you would like to use the free ticket voucher. Same thing for the free ticket that members get for their birthdays.

We used our free tickets. You just call them up, make a reservation, and tell them you are using your free ticket. On the free ticket form, it says to have a credit card number ready but they never asked us for it.

Yes, we used ours last night and had a great time. I think they expire on the 25th, so act quick.

On another note, we were pleasantly surprised to find that Tuesdays were half price food and drink. That $17.00 burger was $8.50. Beers were $3.00, even the craft beers. We had already eaten at Baileys ( who has a very good happy hour deal) so we did not order a meal. We did order the death by chocolate and the beignets (sp).

It was a great night, dinner and drinks at Baileys...dessert, beers, and a movie at gold class and coffee after... All for under $60. Wow! The Baileys happy hour is a true find!

Lisa, just print it from their site. We did, and it worked fine. The link to the coupon is in a previous post. Make sure you have the coupon printed when you call and with you (I per person) when you chech in. I would recommend Tuesday since it is half price food and drink. The coupon is not good for Friday-Sunday.

We went last night and used our free tickets and to try out the food on half price Tuesday. We both thought the movie-watching experience was superb. Great screen, great sound at a perfect volume level--not too loud as to be muddled and not too low. (We saw Iron Man 2).

As for the food, is was good but definitely not worth the full price. Also, I'm not sure if they have permanently removed things from the menu that's posted online, or just modify it for Half Price night. They definitely have a different menu for Tuesdays, because all the prices were changed to reflect the lower price. However, a few items remained at full price--the steak sandwich, for example, was still showing $19. Also, the beer selection is very different from the online version of the menu. Not nearly as good in variety or quality.

We started with drinks and an appetizer (ordered in the theater since we arrived just a few minutes before showtime), and they came out fairly quickly without a hitch. We waited another 45 minutes or so to order our entrees, and this is where things slowed down considerably. Our 2nd drinks arrived promptly again, but the entrees took a good 30 minutes to come out...I was getting nervous that we wouldn't get our food until the movie was just about over. The food was not bad, but it was a bit awkward to have to lean over in the huge recliners to eat over the tiny table. Not sure how that could really be remedied though, unless they had some sort of fold-out table instead.

All in all, we enjoyed our experience, but we'll also only go a couple of times per year, when we have a free ticket. We'd probably also skip ordering anything besides drinks and maybe some of the gourmet popcorn. (which we didn't try this time)

Oh also, we sat in seats 3 and 4 of row C and found them to be about perfect. I could see row B (closer) being good too, but I thought even in row B you'd be looking up to see the screen. However, if you were reclined the whole time, then I think it actually would be right in your line-of-sight without wearing out your neck. I think row D (farther) is definitely too far away. I wouldn't want to watch a movie there if I had to be in row A or E.

I went last night to use my free ticket and regrettably saw "MacGruber". I like SNL and the bit on SNL but as a 90 minute movie; not soo much.

I had the half price Artisan Pizza. It was good at the $8 price range but not worth the regular $16 price.

I didn't try the Gourmet Popcorn either maybe next time but I was afraid to ask how much it cost.

I went alone and didn't want to sit next to anyone so when I made the reservations last week the concierge to put me center row A. When I got there I notice that there were only 2 other couples for the 5:30 show so perhaps I should have asked to be moved back from the front row. It was awkward sitting that close to the screen but once I adjusted my seat to recline it became tolerable.

I agree the picture and sound quality was good as well. You're right that that the table is small so a lot of the time I had my plate in my lap. I had a Coke which was $2.00. It was basically Coke from a can served in a glass.

I'll probably visit again on special occasions or if they ever have a buy one get one ticket free promotion. I don't know if I may buy food due to the portion per price ratio. Maybe some popcorn or a drink.

The Lobby had a nice size crowd of people around 7:30 when my movie was over. I know that tomorrow and this weekend they will do well with Sex in the City 2 already sold out many of the evening shows tomorrow. However the early reviews have not been good so I wonder how it will hold up box office wise throughout the weekend once many people read the reviews in the major newspapers. One thing for sure is SITC2 is the type of movie can get people out to Gold Class.

Lionhart, I believe as a member you get a free ticket on your birthday. Also, Thursdays are buy 3 get one free, so if you pool the cost, it comes to less than $13.00 per ticket. Not that bad to guarantee a good seat without a group of 10 kids near you. Hope that helps!

I was just looking through a coupon flyer my wife picked up at VofF and there is a GCC buy1 get1 free coupon inside. It must be used by June 7th. I think she got it at the wine walk, but they probably have them at the cust. serv. kiosk as well.

Oh yes, I have the flyer that you are referring to. I picked it up the night of the outdoor movie "Princess and the Frog". I'll be sure to use that. Thanks for the suggestion.

Looks like they've raised prices for members from $17 to $20 during the week.

And it's now $25 on weekends (Friday and Saturday, even daytime showings).

And they've eliminated half-price Tuesdays. Now it's just reduced prices. (Only $3 for selected wine and beer though)

I just got that email, weird. I did talk to the manager who said they were beating expectations, but I hope that pricing email was sent out for a different location.

Nope--check the website. Those prices apply to Fairview.
