Ok, my boyfriends daughter just came to stay with him for a bit. She is 18 years old, very quiet and we dont know to get her to meet other teens her age. Is there any place that teens hang out at? I've been by the skate park and that seems to have alot of younger teens there.
She's into this goth stuff, so I know I will get alot of "Church is a great place to go" only if we could get here there... We've tried and she refuses!

The food court at the outlet mall on Stacey.
There really is not any other place for them in this town.

The bowling alley. Other than bowling, they do have the pool tables, but the problem there is that is the room where people are allowed to smoke. My son has met his friends there a couple times to play pool and I make him take a shower and I wash his clothes right when he gets home. But, bowling is also a lot of fun.

If she into the goth stuff the most likely would fit in at the skate park and bowling alley perfect. I would warn her to stay off the tracks and the "hill" those are the known drug using places...Alot of the kids are also starting to go to the waterfall now that it is warming up. The kids at the skate park range in age from elem to way past high school. 17-20 somethings are there alll the time. The majority though now at that age are basically hanging out at ppl homes and going to do things else where now they are old enough and not under curfew anymore.

My best guess is along the creek in the wooded part of Allen Station Park. There is also the historic dam on the other side of Exchange Pkwy. near the business park buildings. My suggestion would be to make sure that if she goes to the skate park, that she either stays in the building or in well lit areas and not wonder off. You gotta set some limits.
