Still tied after the 1st overtime. Allen was again scoreless in the 2nd and 3rd, but it wasn't because of a lack of effort. The Rush's goalie has had some incredible saves ... as has Whitley. Neither want to allow the winning goal to get by.

That had to be some game! Both teams are so good but I think the Rush just kicked it up a little bit more. I am going to get season tickets for the Americans 2010-2011 season. Great team and alot of fun to go to the games!

That was quite the game. I applaud the Rush announcers as they did a pretty good job of giving kudos to our boys. It was night and day from the Odessa announcers. Here's looking forward to seeing whatever offseason transactions the Americans make to put together another quality team. Good job boys!!!!

Another great game in a great season and another FANTASTIC outing by Whitley. 64 shots it took for them to get the win! I'm proud of all they've done this season and look forward to October!

Well that was a very disappointing loss, but I'm proud of our boys for making it all the way to game 6 of the finals in our very first year!
Whitley did outstanding as usual, hopefully we'll retain our top guys for next season.
I know that we'll be getting 1/2 season tickets when they go on sale for the 2010-2011 season, and are looking forward to more hockey in about 6 months time.

It was a great game. Kudos to the Rush .... they fought hard to come back from a 3-0 deficit to edge out our Americans like that. Two very tough OTs with the 2nd one coming down to the last seconds before that goal slipped in.
It's frustrating that we had another scoreless 2nd and 3rd, but again ... it wasn't from a lack of effort. Allen had some great shots, but Battochio was doing a bang-up job in the net last night. He made some great saves. Whitley did too with 60 saves. 60?! Holy cow!!!!!
They had a great season! Hopefully next year they can go all the way.
