My daughter turned 16 on the 9th, and we were planning her party at Lake Lavon for this Saturday. As we all know, there's a call for rain all weekend. Plus, we had a death in the family and were waiting on funeral arrangements before making definite party plans so this is all runing late to begin with.
I'm looking for any ideas on where we can have the party or what we can do instead, for family and friends to celebrate with us.
Food would need to be allowed, not just cake, and we'd like to have something for everyone to do, even if it's just games for prizes.
My husband is suggesting the Natatorium, I haven't called yet, but I'm thinking they don't allow food.
Anyways, please share ANY ideas you might have, I have to revise invitations and hand deliver them, hopefully before Friday night.
Thank you :)

My kids have been to parties over at the natatorium that included food. I would call and just ask.

Joe Farmer Park has a covered pavillion w/tables that overlooks the pond w/a kitchen, that rents reasonably.

We had a limo pick up our daughter and her friends they rode around for an hour then to CICI pizza. They had a blast this was5 years ago. The other daughter had a Wizard of Oz party at the church fellowship hall this was 10 yrs ago. You might see if the Churches rent their halls.

Not having any idea of what type of party your daughter would like or your budget, you might look into The Main Event or Dave & Buster's.
