Anyone ever ridden the 50 mile course? If so what are the Leonard Hills like? Did you stay closer to Bonham or just drive in? Thanks

Not sure, but I did read some reviews from previous years. Still did not see a reference to the LH area. I can send a question to someone I know that rides bicycles and stuff.

My son, and a couple of work friends rode it back in the 90's. Was great and there were break stations along the way. I think my son finished an hour ahead of us. The hills were killers going up, fun going down.

Hi Brewer, can you tell me where I can find more information regarding the 50 mile course you mentioned? I am fairly new to bicycling and would be interested in this. I have been riding approx 20 miles a couple times a week and looking for something with more distance. Thanks!

Google "Autumn in Bonham" it will pull up the Bonham chamber of commerce sponsored site. It has the route maps on it for all the courses as well as the registration info.

If you are looking for something a little sooner there is the 2010 Collin Classic this Saturday. There are 20, 27, 39, 52, and 60 mile routes which all start from McKinney North High School.

I can't compare it to the Bonham ride (I haven't done that one yet) but the Collin Classic is a great bike rally.
