looking for some advise, I've got a friend that I do PC work for and I recently updated thier PC to Windows 7 and added a harddrive, when I gave them thier PC back they plugged in a new keyboard and it last three weeks then died. So they bought a new keyboard and now three weeks later it died. Is it coincidence or am I missing something more?

Is it possible a computer virus can interfere with keyboard ops? I'm not too skilled in these matters, yet I'm plagued with a letter "v" issue...
I use an additional keyboard (Microsoft), attached to my lappie. I use an attached mouse as well. It's my way. But, the remote keyboard has gone into a phase that pre_ents me using the letter v. And I must reach up and use the v on the laptop. Now some days it affects both keyboards, and I must use another word to avoid needing a v. Then some days I'm permitted to use the v on either board!?!? Twilight Zone around me _ery often it seems! Good luck on the advice.

turns out it wasnt a keyboard problem at all, Windows 7 sometimes has an issue coming out of sleep/hibrination mode and the keyboard gets locked up. I did a Wnodws 7 Repair and then disabled sleep/hibrination modes so hopefully that will solve my problem.
