And no sign of relief in sight

I uses a homemade version of this that I made from styrofoam and some cheap, D battery fans from Wal-Mart. It's awesome. A few bags of ice will usually last the night and drops the degrees in the car by 10 or more.
(I didn't like the idea of running things off the car battery when camping out at night so that's when I came up with the battery fan idea)
Take a dryer vent hose and put over the exhaust fan to direct the outward air flow right in your face!

Cool idea, but I got my car back from the shop last night. I have a/c again! Hubby's car will probably go in Friday evening or Saturday morning. His will be cheaper to fix.
