Anyone have a church (any denomination) to recommend for meeting people who are under 40 years old?
Thanks!

That's a pretty open ended criterion for a church. What is your idea of what a church for "30 somethings" looks like?

LOL - I give you full benefit of the doubt that you are looking for a place of worship where you can fellowship and share faith with others who are in a similar place to yours on life's journey as opposed just looking for an alternative to personal ads or singles bars or match.com for finding a date - it's just easy to read the post that way.
You might try visiting the big churches that have lots of small fellowship groups and social activities - Prestonwood Baptist in Plano comes immediately to mind or maybe Cottonwood Creek here in Allen.

You forgot to mention St. Jude.

If you prefer a smaller church Friendship Baptist is a good choice as well. Most of the folks there are definatly 30 and under with little ones etc..

Isn't the Fellowship Church - next to Garden Ridge, suppose to be for the younger crowd? Oh My, I sounded so old there.....if not I believe someone told me the church next to Cinemark, I think it is called Chase Oak's has a younger crowd..you might want to check them out and see what you think.
Good Luck, finding the right church for yourself and your family is hard - but don't give up.

I think Fellowship is that, and Cottonwood is. I'll keep my quiet little country church. But I'll try and get the name of one in Irving too...as a guest once I realized it was hugely popular and attended and noisy, and many younger somethings enjoyed it.

Been to Grapevine Fellowship and Plano's. My son met his love and wife of six years at this church. They are very different than what I have been use to. Seems they try to get the young lives involved. Could be what the Op is looking for.

Young couple down the street goes to Allen Bible Church. I think I saw their sign at the end of the old Brookshires building.

We love Suncreek UMC on McDermott just west of Alma. Definitely a young family atmosphere. Not too big, not too small....

We have been going to The Harvest off of Rivercrest across from the High school and we love it. I am 26 husband 28 and we finally found a church that is "real" for us. Great worship service, no pressure, most of the members 20-50 age group. If you want a church that talks about the stuff others wont touch and a place that they dont really care how you come just be there this is the place for you. Check out there web site! www.theharvestnow.com
