Anyone watching this pilot show? It is one of 3 or 4 that are filming in Dallas. It's fun to be able to recognize the buildings, etc. in the show. I'm not sure it will make it back. I think the main detective is a little too "slap-stick" and his gum-chewing drives me crazy. Pretty good story lines I think.

Yes, and I recognize a lot of it being in the Deep Ellum area, my oldest son used to play in several bands and they played a lot of clubs around there less than a year ago. I would go to their shows and take video. They never got signed, but they got to play with bands such as Fair To Midland and Weezer. The Good Guys show reminds me of that, Colin Hanks isn't quite as good an actor as his dad is, in my opinion.

It's not too bad. I'm hoping it's one of those shows that grows on you once you get to know the characters. I just wish they wouldn't make the one guy a complete drunk (and stuck in the 70's)
They are setup in Fair Park and doing a lot of shooting there. You can recognize some of the buildings and they even had the trains in one of the episodes.
