LOL.. in 06 I doubt anyone thought of Obama as a serious candidate.
Perry may be an idiot, but he is a tireless campaigner...he knows how to craft his message to the group being addressed. I would think he would have a shot at the nomination.
A Perry-Jendal ticket?
A Perry-Palin ticket?
A Palin-Bachman ticket? (this one would be interesting to watch).
Who are some other unknowns out there within the GOP?
Not sure who Bachman is, but neither did I know of an Obama until he ran for President. But it's all in fun anyway since it's impossible to see the climate at time of Election....Palin will be fine with me, though she may not be able to get elected. Only met Perry once, but he can probably perform as a Prez...and Jindal is certainly emerging as a credible figure. Guess we'll have to keep watchin' the chess game of politics.

Scott Brown FTW! The one Republican I would vote for, since he's a fiscal conservative but has shown to be moderate-to-left-leaning socially, which is exactly what I want in a president. No other Republican candidate that's getting or has gotten airtime to date is an option for me.

I think Gore's political capital is gone, and Biden is emptying his wallet pretty quickly. I think Clinton-(some old white dude) has a better chance than Gore-Biden.
