This book has been out for quite a few years, but if you haven't read it, find a copy at Half Price Books or if you have a book exchange at work, look there. It is a fascinating look into the training of little girls into Geisha in Japan before WWII. And, to top it off, it was made into a movie that is beautifully done. I read the book a few months ago and we rented the movie and watched it last night. Both are very good.
