I thought it was kind of funny last week when they announced at the Allen vs. Plano East football game to be sure and come out and watch the Allen American play on Friday, October 15th at 7:30pm. I was thinking not much of a chance of this crowd making it on that Friday night.

Between the Ranger game (stinks that they collapsed the way the did at the end) and the HS Football game, there was a lot of competition for sporting events on Friday.
But the American's game was a wild one, with a solid 5-2 victory over our cross-town rivals.
BTW, nice to put a face with a name here on Allen Online Maurice! Looks like we'll be just a few seats away from y'all the rest of the season (or half season as it were)

So what was up with the Brahmas (Maxwell) #49? Didn't play the entire game but came in to try to dust one ours after the game was over. Was pretty good hockey until out last few goals then the same old dirty tricks started surfacing. Should be good for tonight.

Maxwell is their enforcer, watch him skate and you see why. He's a big boy, 6'2" and 240lbs but I'm interested in seeing how he does in a stand up, drop the gloves situation. He tangled with Hooch last week but that was more of a wrestling match, he seems to like to jump a player rather than square up. I wouldn't be shocked if they didn't start him opposite Hooch and have them tussle again, start the Brahma's off with a bang so to speak.
I would have sent him in after the third goal, after pulling the goalie. Try to rally my team but Wildfong (Brahma's coach who I nicknamed 'Manthong' last season lol) chose to do that at the end instead.
Nice to meet you Jay J, I'm there all season. :)

I was right by the glass for the fight after goal #4. Funny ... when they were done hitting, the patted each other on the back and skated away from each other. Classic.

Yep, that's the way it's supposed to be. Have a little dust up and then pat each other on the back and show respect.
