Funny!
I said tonight while waiting 2.5 hours to vote that I'd rather have my extra $40 in Property Taxes go toward more election workers/verification laptops/voting booths if we're going to continue with this open polling place system for Election Day.

The county commissioners and county judge did a horrible job of determining the location of the polling locations. The staffing and equipping of the locations was equally horrible.
The election workers were wonderful, doing the best they could with the very limited amount of machines they had to use.
Just remember, you re-elected one of the individuals who voted FOR this new style of voting. Trying to save a dollar isn't always the smartest thing to do.
