Shiny Hair on a Budget (Home Brews)

Due to overwhelming request for ways to get shiny beautiful hair on a budget, I have searched my files and found the following home brews.
Deep Cleansing Shampoo – to remove buildup on the outer layer of hair allowing the hair’s natural reflective qualities to shine through.

Mixture – In a small plastic container mix ‘warm’ water, baking soda and shampoo for your hair type creating a light paste. Emulsify in hands and apply to wet hair massaging lightly into scalp then rinse thoroughly with cool water and condition.

Brunette Enrichment – Brew strong Espresso, allow to cool completely. After cooling pour over clean dry hair. Allow to remain on hair for twenty plus minute’s then rinse with cool water for that extra glow and shine.

Dull Hair / Dry Scalp – to help with the dry flaky scalp while at the same time increasing the hairs natural shine. A mixture of three tablespoons of honey to a pint of water mixed well creates a fantastic hair and scalp tonic. Apply a small amount of tonic to scalp and massage in thoroughly and work to the ends of the hair.

Creating your own Dry Shampoo – this may used to help fight dandruff along with excessive oily hair and scalp. Massage baking soda into your hair and scalp. This absorbs oil and loosens the dead skin on the scalp. Rinse well with cool water to close the cuticle. In the beginning the hair will feel dry, but after several weeks you will be dandruff free with smooth shiny hair.
National Conditioners

Beer any brand (do not drink first)
Open beer and allow to sit at room temperature until all the fizz is gone and beer is flat. Pour over hair, remaining for five minutes, then rinse with cool water.

Lemon Juice or Vinegar Rinse – mix your choice with water for the ultimate final rinse to lower the hairs pH while closing the cuticle layer for a super reflective shine.

Use any of these as needed or until your reach the desired results.

Does the caffeine in the espresso absorb into the scalp? I'm wondering if this should be done in the morning rather than the evening?
