At the last meeting, Nebraska saw a team without a head coach and a couple of key players absent. Boy, are they in for a surprise! They sold out their home game so we need a good crowd for this one. Spread the word.

That was an amazing game!!! How come there aren't more people in the stands? I have been to 3 games and have enjoyed every second. The coolest thing is the interaction the players have with the fans. The kids absolutely love it! You CANNOT get that type of involvement with any other sport...including the Americans.
I love my Americans, but I may have to lean more towards the Wranglers after my experiences. They are truly playing a tough sport. I saw Bobby Chase #80 flip over the wall twice, once onto concrete!!!..and catch the ball! Haven't see a hockey player do that., or better yet an NFL player to that!
I believe there are a couple of games left, and from what I understand this team will make the playoffs...the fans that go every game need to spread the word and fill the stands.
The Americans season is over now, so instead of chanting "Dread the Red"...what about "Back the Blue!" (or something else catchy).
This is an experience, if you haven't seen a game...your missing out. Not to mention their kicker is an Allen officer. Talk about a professional team with a real community connection.
Go Wranglers!!!

I have been to everyone of the games except the first one. I will say it is much more exciting when they are not televising the game. No TV timeouts to slow things down.
There will be a large group of us going to the next game.

According to the internet, the Wranglers absolutely destroyed the other top team in the division. It was 0-41 in the 2nd quarter. They are playing the Amarillo Venom (1-9) here this Saturday. There ought to be some serious point scoring!!
Go Wranglers.

Yea, the Wrangler guys are tough for sure. Don't go knocking the hockey players though. :) David Nimmo is a perfect example, the last game of the Conference Finals he took a clearing shot full in the face. Broke his orbital bone and upper jaw, along with opening his face that required a plastic surgeon to stitch it. He went off for repairs, put a full face shield on and was back on the ice to finish the third period.

I also believe that both teams will remain in Allen for many years to come. What happens after the Wranglers season, what will the Event Center have for us during the summer? Any ideas?
