My 1999 Chevrolet Lumina (95,000 miles) makes a loud clicking sound when I turn to the right. It does not make the sound when I turn to the left. I'm hoping someone might know what this is and can tell me an approximate cost to fix it. I don't trust repair shops as they always seem to add and add and add things on until the bill is way too much. Thanks.

Very likely a bad constant velocity joint. If you can't do it yourself take it to a dealership if you know of one that you trust.
A good plan violently executed now is better than a perfect plan executed next week.

Sounds like a cv joint to me also. Hearing it in person is a lot easier to confirm but from your description....a cv joint. Most of the time you would change the whole axle on that side as that is how they are sold after market at a lesser price than only one new joint from a dealership. The bad joint will be on the side making noise when you turn towards its direction (inside of turn). Axles generaly run 150.00 or less and labor 120.00 or less (to give you a parameters idea).
