I posted this in the Health & Nutrition forum but haven't gotten any responses, perhaps because it's further down the page and not as visible as here. So, here goes:
I'm curious to know of a good family/general practitioner in Allen.
My preferences aren't outrageous: patient, friendly, and courteous. Their staff should be also. I prefer someone who accepts commercial insurance as in-network. Medicare is an option. However, Medicaid is something they will not accept.
I've done some research. Here's a few names I've come across: David Allen, Jeffrey Burchard, John Connelly, David Edwards, and Adam Smith.
Any feedback is greatly appreciated!

My husband really likes Dr. Allen.
I have been a satisfied patient of Dr. Linda Parker's for over 10 years.

Our family uses Dr Kevin Joyner who is in the same practice as Dr. Jeffrey Burchard. We have seen Dr Burchard several times and have been more than pleased. Of course we love Dr Joyner - he really is a great person as well as a great Doctor.

My husband and I have been patient's of Dr. Burchard's for years and I highly recommend him. I have met Dr. Adam Smith a few times at the hospital (I work there) and have been impressed.
