To be honest with you, it actually speaks for the article. We don't need Obama's dollars, period.

I would gladly take "Obama's dollars" which I assume are nothing more than my own tax dollars I am already paying to Washington, if it means I don't have to reach into my wallet again to subsidize the AISD!

A good plan violently executed now is better than a perfect plan executed next week.

All the more reason many people are against Washington dipping into our pants, and doing multiple things (but I'll withhold details), and taking more money.
So, call out the sheeple all you want. But, I quit breastfeeding from momma when I was a baby. Some people still do it today with Obama's soured milk. And, unfortunately, we'll ALL end up being sick from it.

Interesting...I wish he would have actually written about the problem with the state instead of using our state-wide problem as a reason to bash the federal government. Whether you like the current federal govt or not, the Texas-wide issue is not his to fix. Why didn't he say anything about Perry and the problems Austin has caused?

Well said Colby!! The editorial doesn't make any sense because the issue in Allen had almost nothing to do with federal dollars. The only thing federal stimulus money did was slightly delay the inevitable collision of reality with the fantasyland solution the Texas legislature came up with in 2006.
