The Allen Wranglers of the Indoor Football League (IFL), along with general manager and future Dallas Cowboys Ring of Honor member Drew Pearson and Allen Wranglers owner Jon Frankel, have formally extended a contract offer to former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Terrell Owens for the upcoming 2012 Wranglers season which will include seven home games at the Allen Event Center in Allen, Texas. The compensation package, which is within the rules of the Indoor Football League, would be $250,000 up to $500,000.

Doubt he (Owens) would do it. Why would he? A future Hall of Fame WR playing in sub-par pro football league...especially indoors.

It sounds like a cheap way to try and sell some tickets but if you are going to do cheap stunts to sell tickets you should at least be the first one to do it.
The Chicago Rush on Wednesday issued a news release saying they had extended an offer to the receiver. Rosenhaus scoffed at the offer, however. "That is absurd," Rosenhaus told ESPN. "Terrell will of course only be playing in the NFL."

In other news, I have offered Mila Kunis a job as a housekeeper at my residence.
Still no response, but I'm hopeful.

From GM Drew Pearson, a contract with Terrell Owens is very likely with Owens playing and possibly owning 50% of the Wranglers. Looks like the circus might be coming to town after all.

" Pearson acknowledged that the Wranglers' interest in Owens, one of the most polarizing, productive players in Cowboys history during his tenure with the franchise from 2006-08, wasn't just because he would be the league's most talented player. Unlike NFL teams, the Wranglers want the publicity that would come along with adding Owens to the roster."
