I'm looking for a competitive soccer team for my 10 year old son. Preferrably one that practices in Allen or McKinney, one that won't make us sign a contract and cost an arm and a leg every year. Just something fun and challenging and competitive, a step above ASA. I've got a couple of names but can anyone throw some more out there that I can look in to?

I am not 100% certain, but I believe that all select teams require that you sign an annual contract. As for the cost, that can be managed. Look at some of the lower cost options, particularly independent teams. I would suggest posting your question at http://www.txsoccer.info/
