Saw a TABC public announcement poster at the old la Finca place on Bethany.
Anyone heard of them?
IMO we need a good wing place!

We have Buffalo Wild Wings 5 minutes down the highway and Pluckers going in at the old Nates. More wings the merrier though!

WOOOHOOOO!!!! My absolute favorite wings!!! LOVE the variety of flavors, and they actually have wings that are hotter than I need...and I like'em hot!! Both boneless and bone in are awesome, and the fries are really good too. I'm so happy they are gonna be much closer than the Plano location.

So, is this a good place to watch a game? Is it like Hooters, Buffalo, etc?

From the other thread...
I've looked into the cost of the old La Finca location and my gosh, the management team must think this is the best location in Allen.
You may know this - but it's my understanding that this is either mostly or entirely why the the La Finca folks got out of there.

Tried Sauced todayat lunch with coworkers. Nice place, much bigger than I expected. The wings were much better than say Wing Stop and right up there with BWW. Fries were good and my fiancé said her cookie dough spring roll was awesome. Service was slow and awkward but they are new do is to be expected. definitely will be going back

Wife and I went on 9March2012 and loved it. Had a tiny hiccup with the order with my wife ordering boneless and them bringing bone-in. When he came around to check on us, I mentioned it to the guy who took our order at the counter (Jared) that the kitchen kinda botched the boneless part, b ut that it wasn;t a huge deal. He said "Oh yes it is...can I see your receipt?" I showed it to him and he promptly went and got the manager/owner. She brought us a fresh, hot order of what it should have been and apologized profusely. We will absolutely be back.

We went to Sauced for dinner on Friday night.
It was busy but not for a sports bar or night out type of crowd.
There were a lot of young families.
The food was good, beers were cold, cost alright.
We will probably call in an order to take home next time.
But we probably won't choose this location as our place to go out.

My family went in for lunch on Sunday. Dh and older 2 kids had wings of various sauces and all were happy. I am not crazy for wings, so I got a burger- very tasty. The fries were seasoned well too. I had the leftovers of my little one's chicken "nuggets" and they were very good- real pieces of chicken, tasty breading. All of us enjoyed our meals, the service was friendly and the owner stopped by. We will definitely be back.

We ate there last week and we enjoyed it. Their Ranch wings were really good but my favorite was the honey BBQ. The best part is that my wife has a gluten allergy. The owner was quick to point out what she could eat (just about everything) and that to accommodate they would toss the wings in a seperate bowl and then fry them in a fresh fryer. Tasted great and my wife really enjoyed it.

I ate at Sauced with a friend tonight. It was fantastic! We had barbecue pork nachos, fried pickles/jalapenos mix, beer and wings. They were all delicious, the wings were big and meaty, and the 2 alarm sauce was tasty but not too hot, the 3 alarm had a nice kick and tasted great as well.
Shiner draft beers were only $3.75 each; that's a win almost anywhere!
If you like good wings, this is the place!

Went to "Sauced" (Bethany & 75- old LaFinca) on Friday night and was VERY pleased!! Wings were meaty and tasty - many flavors to pick from! Sweet potato fries were the best I ever had - since there was actually potato in it - not a deep fried stick of nothing. The fried pickles were very good also! The margaritas were on happy hour prices and one was all I needed. Only can suggest that they rearrange the setup as far as seating - full service was wanted by most all of the patrons and that area was smaller seating area than the counter order area. Maybe they should offer full-service for dinners and counter service for lunches. Will for sure visit again and again and again!!!

Great wings place! I had a quick lunch there about a week ago. I ordered wings with the medium buffalo sauce, sweet potato fries, and a sweet tea. Excellent meal! I will definitely revisit often.

We went Sunday evening. This is the first time we went during dinner, so we went to the "self service" side as usual.
After we ordered and sat down, we waited and waited while we talked, then finally I asked my husband to get the receipt out to look at the time we placed the order. It had been exactly thirty minutes! It was quite packed at the full-service side, but our side was practically empty. All we ordered were wings and fries, so we didn't understand why it took so long to just put the food in the fryer and then toss some sauce on. As I was walking up to look for the manager, the waiters brought our food out. I commented to them that it's been thirty minutes, they didn't say a thing then walked away. Just when I was about to get more ticked off that they didn't even care, another woman in charge came to talk to us. She apologized and offered to comp us a dessert, or an appetizer for the next visit. We declined as we've gone plenty of food.
Then I got up to the utensils counter to get some forks, and they're all out. I asked a cashier as there were no one else around, and she walked back into the kitchen to look for them. Then the same manager lady came out of the kitchen, saw me, and I told her what I was looking for. She quickly got a box of forks from the cabinets below the utensil trays and handed me the forks.
From my experience that evening, it seemed that other than the manager, the rest of the staff were just kids who were not well trained to serve. Perhaps the better ones were working at the full service side. This is sad because we usually tip 10-15% already as we order and pay for our food.
We hope they will get better next time we go. We do like their food. The wings are moist and meaty, and the fries are probably the best around town. But we better go to the full service side when available.

We've been two times. Each time was during the weekday afternoon, not the weekend. Our experience was excellent, with timely food delivery fresh out of the oven. If we needed something, the staff were prompt and all supplies and utensils were readily available.
It makes me think a different staff worked Sun evening during your unfortunate experience. It's good to know that the manager took care of you immediately. I'd recommend going back, whether during the week or again on the weekend to compare experiences. I'd highly discourage letting this keep you from returning for supper, as there are some who would hang a restaurant the first mistake they made. That is, of course, as long as something dead or along those lines aren't found in your food. I'm assuming you've been previously but for lunch?
By all means, keep the waiters and waitresses on their toes, regardless of age, especially if self-service isn't busy like the other side...
