NWS has placed us in the Slight Risk area along with much of central and north Texas. Storms will be ongoing through the state this afternoon into tonight and some of them will be strong to severe. The main threats will be damaging downburst winds, hail, lightning and heavy flooding rain. Be careful if you are heading out tonight or on your way home late as the rain could be extremely heavy leading to local flooding in areas.
